Job Summary:

Plans, directs, organizes, and executes activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives of the projects are accomplished within a prescribed timeframe and funding parameters performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors assigned to the projects.

Qualifications/Skills required:

  • BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

  • 10+ years of project management experience in a petrochemical manufacturing or refining facility.

  • The ability and willingness to openly and freely collaborate with other project managers for the benefit of the project, team and site.

  • Value ADD: experience managing large process equipment construction or replacement, steam superheater maintenance/rebuilds.

Additional details include but are not limited to:

  • Extended knowledge of various mechanical skills: pipe fitting, welding, boiler making, steel erection, electrical, rotating equipment, instrumentation, non-destructive testing/examination, heavy lift planning, etc.  Extended knowledge of various construction techniques and best practices. Proficient in reading mechanical drawings, blueprints, isometrics, P&IDs. Ability to understand field changes and red-line drawings. Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities. Proven ability to effective coordinate various mechanical, operations, technical, and contract resources according to schedule and plan. Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
