Process Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

The Process Maintenance Engineer identifies, develops, and implements reliability-based programs to optimize equipment to meet current production requirements.  The Process Maintenance Engineer strives to maintain the lowest operating cost and highest safety environmental while integrating appropriate expense and capital investments to enhance long term process reliability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate corrective action.
  • Provide technical assistance to maintenance and production.
  • Hire and coordinate outside contractors for both small and large maintenance projects, as well as capital improvement projects.
  • Actively pursue new technologies to automate, or continuously improve, operating and maintenance efficiency.
  • Develop and support "best practices" and industry accepted maintenance standards and methods.
  • Understand a perform root cause analysis on damaged/failed equipment in an effort to minimize or eliminate repeat problems.

Job Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Knowledge of practical application of engineering science and technology.  This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.


  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering plus 5 years of experience
