Contracts Administrator

The contract administrator function is responsible for the internal review of PO’s and contract information and retention of complete contract files for reference by personnel throughout the organization.  The contract administrator will review the correspondence/documentation to determine its effect on the contract, make the necessary inquiries, and take necessary actions.  In the final stages of the contract work, and where such contractual requirements exist, the contract administrator will prepare the proper documentation, obtain the proper approvals, and prepare any other contract notices that may be required.



  • Liaison between Corporate Management Office (CMO) and CDI Engineering Solutions Division leaders; 
  • Review and negotiate customer Non-Disclosure Agreements and Standard CDI Engineering Solutions Contracts with customer;
  • Review and assist in the preparation of complete and accurate Customer Extract Forms;
  • Review contracts and prepare Contract Summary Forms;
  • Communicate contract requirements and contract compliance issues with Account team;
  • Review customer purchase orders to ensure proper contract review has occurred;
  • Enter purchase order and contract information into Vision database and/or other applicable systems;
  • Obtains and documents proper approvals and exceptions as required;
  • Assists CDI Engineering Solutions managers in the interpretation and implementation of contractual related activities;
  • Assists Director of Contracts as necessary in CDI Engineering Solutions contract activities;


Skills & Experience:

  • Requires a minimum of 4 years related contract experience.
  • Must have ability to successfully negotiate standard contract terms.
  • Demonstration of strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstration of strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintains confidentiality and consistently adheres to policies and guidelines.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF applications operation.
