CDI Engineering Solutions is seeking a Construction Manager to work at our Team Site in South Charleston, WV. Duration: March through December 2021. 

Job Summary:  Oversee construction activities, monitor progress of multiple contractors, directing progress and cost and budget of projects. 

Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Review project schedule to control timeline of construction activities of multiple contractors.
  • Oversee onsite contractor activities to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance.
  • Review work progress on a daily basis.
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status & cost.
  • Obtain necessary permits.
  • Have input on Engineering Projects.

Job Qualifications & Skills:

  • 15+ years of experience working in a chemical plant environment.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Strong multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to schedule activities in Excel and/or Microsoft Project.
