CDI Engineering Solutions is seeking a T/A Material Expeditor - Coordinator to work at our team site in Port Neches, TX. Successful candidate will be responsible for delivering materials and assisting logistics plans for turnaround execution and plant commissioning phase. Assignment duration: May 2020

Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Handle RUSH order requests from various units to ensure material/service is  delivered.
  • Assist all Site personnel pertaining to SAP, problem solving with errors, training, etc.  
  • Write new Requisitions per request for new orders.
  • Update, alter orders from a work order.
  • Serve as support for Sub-5tores/Stores;  troubleshooting  orders, inventory, and updates.
  • Serve as Liaison between Accounts Payable and Site for open  invoices.
  • Confirm correct pricing, availability, and part numbers for new  releases.
  • Troubleshoot/Resolve Purchase Order issues that have potential to cause future billing delays.
  • Expedite all orders to ensure expected promise dates are met.
  • Handle all Non-Conformance Database issues regarding Purchasing, Order Tracking, Vendor issues, etc.
  • Coordinate with Corporate buyers on various orders.
  • Re-open/cancel orders as needed or requested.
  • Serve as support for the Shipping/Receiving  Group regarding orders, etc.
  • Navigate SAP for outline agreement information.
  • Assist  with  Exceptions, coordinate  return of  material to vendor;  work  with  End   User,
  • Receiving Group, Shipping.
  • Close/Alter Work Orders.
  • View and sort various SAP buy queues to ensure orders are routed  correctly.
  • Assist Project Team in closing out Open Commitments.
  •  Assist SAP Team with various issues, etc.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, Access.
  • Run open order reports in SAP to provide to Site Leadership on a day-to-day  basis.

Job Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • 3-5 years related experience.
  • Microsoft office and SAP experience.
  • Maintenance and Turnaround experience.
  • Proficient in capturing data for historical purposes and presenting data to management.
  • Good problem solving skills.
