CDI Engineering Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to work primarily in Beaumont, TX with some time in Mont Belvieu, TX. This is a full-time, benefited, long-term opportunity.

Job Summary: The project portfolio includes small to medium capital projects to $50 mm involving plant process improvements and environmental compliance.

Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  •  Plan, organize, and execute capital/expense projects (generally under 10 MM$).
  •  Prepare scopes in support of commercial developments, Operation's needs, integrity upgrades, etc.  
  • Ensure projects are designed and constructed in accordance with the Company's Engineering guidelines and specifications, industry codes and standards, and regulatory agency requirements to meet necessary functionality and performance requirements.
  • Prepare cost estimates and schedules.
  • Keep stakeholders up to date on project status
  • Prepare bid packages for equipment and outside services including consulting engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
  • Make full use of Enterprise subject matter experts.
  • Participate in reviews of designs prepared by outside engineering contractors, vendors, fabricators, and manufacturers.
  • Ensure all safety/environmental requirements are incorporated into the project.
  • Monitor field construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Work with Operations personnel to safely start-up new facilities.
  • Prepare project completion reports and as-built drawings.
  • Assist in troubleshooting operational problems and help with optimization efforts.

Job Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Direct experience with midstream assets/equipment/projects (gas processing plants/pipelines and NGL pipelines) is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience is required
  • Must demonstrate proven ability in designing and executing projects to ensure engineering guidelines and specifications, industry codes and standards, and regulatory agency requirements are met
  • Proven skills in the areas of design/operational characteristics of a wide range of production/pipeline equipment, facility de-bottlenecking/optimization, project scope development, contractor management, project execution and process safety management activities are required
  • Working proficiency/knowledge of MS Excel and Project to develop cost estimates and schedules are required.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt and manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.
  • Must be a self-starter, and able to work remote from main engineering support office which is in Beaumont.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills with internal and external customers, at all levels within the organization are required.
  • Bachelor's Degree - Engineering preferred - PMP Certification a plus
