GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

  • Support the acquisition and development phases of Test Program Set (TPS) acquisition projects that ultimately leads to the approval / acceptance of TPS hardware, software and data end products.

 

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Performs analysis of aircraft electronic / electrical systems data and determines the compatibility / feasibility of testing and repairing these systems with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and associated TPS.
  • Analyze Analog, Digital, RF systems.  Knowledge of E-O systems is a plus.
  • Develops the TPS specifications and requirements, performs technical evaluations of contractor TPS development proposals, and evaluates contractor TPS design / development activities.
  • Supports the technical review / approval of contractor hardware, software, and data end products.
  • Establishes the overall characteristics and performance requirements of the TPS by developing System Engineering Technical Requirements (SETR) documentation such as the System Specification (SS), Requirements Analysis Document (RAD) and Software Development Plan (SDP).

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • A U.S. citizen with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering.
  • Must be able to get a Secret Security Clearance. 
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in test and evaluation of aircraft systems using ATE.
  • Knowledgeable of aircraft support systems concepts, and Navy acquisition policies and procedures.
  • Experience with SETR a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work team environment.
  • 2 years experience with MS Project.

• Due to ITAR compliance, only U.S. Persons as defined by the ITAR regulations will be considered (ITAR- International Traffic in Arms Regulations).

• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.
