Construction Manager with midstream experience needed to join client in New Orleans, LA. 

Ideal candidate will have 15+ years of Construction Manager experience specifically with terminals and pipelines.

  • Experience managing projects ranging from $20-$80 million. Must be able to travel to multiple construction sites in the area. 
  • Heavy Midstream background a plus. 
  • Position is mainly a field assignment. 
  • Typically Monday-Friday 50/hour per week with some occasional weekends. 
  • Extensive knowledge with cost control, progress and schedules. 

Day to day task include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates, administers and follows construction projects issued by engineering.  Oversees and schedules contractors, plant production and maintenance.  Ensures that plant safety requirements are followed.
  • Plans and oversees layout of equipment, office and production facilities. Plans with production and maintenance groups to schedule new construction activities in conjunction with routine production and maintenance operations.
  • Organizes set-up and dismantle of temporary facilities for projects. 
  • Conducts studies in operations to maximize workflow and spatial utilization. 
  • •Communicates with Construction Managers, Specialists, Contract Specialists, Contractor Management, Superintendents, Foremen and Project Engineers.
  • Responsible for designated project results. Reports on status of project in the assigned work to PM. Establishes and defines assigned project organization.
  • Supervises in-house, lump sum and subcontractors to achieve project requirements.Administer all contractor activities from contract kick-off meetings to completion associated with assigned project and coordinate these with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Safety, Purchasing, Material Control, and Contract Administration.
